About me and CV.
I am a Swedish-Irish set and costume designer a co-founder of MALAPROP Theatre. I work across theatre, dance, opera, and the occasional film and music video. I am interested in contemporary adaptations, new writing, and devised work. I like to collaborate on vibrant, expressionistic work, where design propels and provokes as well as supports.
Previous Set and Costume Designs include: Playboy of the Western World (The Gaiety Theatre/The Lyric Theatre), It Was Easy (in the end) (The Abbey Theatre); Ask Too Much of Me, La Liberazione di Ruggiero and A Holy Show (Peacock Theatre); Serious Money and The Ash Fire (The Lir); Mr Burns (Rough Magic); Everything Not Saved, Jericho, BlackCatfishMusketeer and LOVE+ (Malaprop Theatre); A Half Promised Land and The Snow Queen (Smock Alley Theatre). Costume Design credits include Danse, Morob (The Emergency Room); Recovery (One Two One Two). I have assisted designers including Chloe Lamford and Bunny Christie and been an associate for Paul Willis and Fly Davis.
In 2016 I co-founded We make bold, genre-spanning work which has design as a core element, despite our un-funded, fringe-y status. MALAPROP has been successfully touring work to London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Beijing.
